Trudie Jackson
Trudie Jackson is a member of the Navajo Nation, and was the first out Two Spirit Native woman to run for president of the Navajo Nation.
She founded the Southwest American Indian Rainbow Gathering, which addresses the health disparities of American Indians that identify as Two Spirit. She received the Marty Prairie Red Ribbon award from the National Native American AIDS Prevention Center and the Equality Arizona Skip Schrader Spirit of Activism award.
