Pauline Park
Pauline Park is an adoptee born in Korea who founded the New York Association for Gender Rights Advocacy, the first state wide transgender advocacy organization in New York. She was also the first openly transgender individual chosen to be a grand marshal of the New York City Pride March in 2005.
She has served on the board of the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund, the Queens Pride House, and is currently on the board of New York Association for Gender Rights Advocacy. She has notably worked with New York City Queers Against Israeli Apartheid, and participated in the first United States LGBT delegation visit to Palestine.
